1.) Go to Settings by pressing on the Windows icon and pressing the cogwheel or by typing it into the Type here to search section.
2.) Press on System in the Windows Settings.
3.) Press Identify to see which number is assigned to which screen.
4.) Move the rectangles on screen as needed so they are identical to the placement of your laptop and monitor. Move them by pressing on them and dragging them to the desired location. Once they are placed where you want press Apply to save the settings.
Press the Windows Key + P
Select Extend
