Notes: If trying to connect to the TV after the TV has turned off or after changing Networks such as you going home then connecting to the school network the next day you will need to restart your computer.

Connecting To TV

 

  1. Turn on your computer.

 

 

  1. Connect to the school Network. (This needs to be done so you are on the same network as the TV.)

 

 

  1. Turn on the TV

 

  1. On the TV, go to Connected Devices

 

 

  1. Select Workspace (The TV will look like this.)

 

 

  1. On your computer, click the Notification icon on the lower right corner

 

 

  1. Select Connect

 

  1. Your computer will start to search for the Name of the TV. (It could have the room number listed or something generic like Samsung B64 TV.)

 

 

  1. Click on the TV you want to connect to.

 

  1. After selecting the TV, you will get a message asking if you want to allow the device to connect if it is the first time you're connecting. If it is not, you will see it says connecting to the device name. Select Allow.

 

 

  1. When connecting, the TV will display your name or computer name at the top of the screen.

 

 

  1. Check the box that says allow mouse keyboard touch pen from this device.

 

  1. The tv should load and then display your computer screen.
