Instructors End
1. Have workstation computer off.
2. Plug in Skye2 USB into a BLACK USB port (Blue one's don't work with this)
3. Turn on Skye2 switch to Wireless (third position).
4. Turn on instructor computer, login.
5. Once logged in, Connect Wi-Fi to WiFiCamera_5G_50ACD8
Wi-Fi Adaptor for Microscope
6. Start Skye2 software from the desktop.
7. "Equipment configuration" should show up, wait until that's complete.
8. Microscope image should appear on instructor station software. From here you can either have students use the app on their phone to view the images or you can use the monitors in the class by turning on the VGA Video Splitter.
9. The image from the instructor station software is sent out via VGA wires just as before; any annotation from the instructor is only seen on the room monitors as the instructor station is really just one wireless receiver (like the phones) from the transmitting source: the microscope.
Student Phone Images
1. First load either the Mac or Android versions of the phone app using the QR codes on the SIDE of the Skye2 equipment.
2. Once the app is installed (and it only needs to be installed once), use the Skye2 phone app to scan the QR code on the TOP of the device. This makes the connection and needs to be done each time a phone wants to connect.
